The following is an example virtual scenario involving a chlorine leak incident created by an instructor. Students can participate in the virtual exercise by logging into the virtual environment through their own computers. This environment does not only simulate the incident, but it also provide tools e.g. slides presentation, text and voice communication facilities, to support the needs of didactic and theoretical classes.
Each object from the RezMela™ library is deeply interactive. The following animations illustrates how learners can interact with fire trucks that they can drive to a target site to carry equipment and colleagues (other user avatars or non player characters). They are also able to open up various compartments of the truck to find personal protective equipment to wear. The vast diversity of interactive objects available from the library makes RezMela ™ a uniquely powerful training and collaborative application for subject matter experts interested in open ended training exercises.
